A ghost in the trenches

Full time space cadet. Blog will mainly be used for all sorts of fandom stuff. I have been a fan of KISS since 2009, however some people on here made this a very unwelcoming and toxic fandom and I find myself slowly withdrawing from it.

  • Stuff in your past is like a carving in the bark of a sapling. Over time the scar - the carving - won’t go away. Because of the way trees grow it won’t go up or down much either. It’ll just stay right where it began. It might even get darker. But it won’t get bigger. You however CAN. You can keep growing. Doing more things. Growing more branches. Being more things. The wound won’t get smaller, but you can make it a smaller part of who you are.

    - Michael Stevens

Life is a gift. You are here for a good time, not a long time. Talk to strangers. Drop toxic people. Follow your dreams.

Some sounds you probably haven’t heard in awhile!

    FUCKING HELL

Huh, I sometimes forget that Hitachi was a general electronics name, not just a name for their Clit Jackhammers.(Context:The Television in the video’s brand name)

Don’t even need sound to still hear those.

question for my fellow autistics/ppl with sensory issues

what are your opinions on (the texture of) meat?

    sensory nightmare

it’s okay, but only if it’s cooked really well

some meats are okay, others are sensory nightmare (specify in reblogs?)

it varies (sometimes good/okay, sometimes not)

best i can do is chicken tenders

i don’t have any issues with eating meat

    other (reblog?)

    i don’t have sensory issues/see results

    See Results

this is inspired by a conversation i had with other neurodivergent people, and now i’m curious

It depends on the kind of meat. Sausages would be really delicious but I still can’t eat most of them because the feeling in my mouth is enough to make me gag.

Since, in true Celtic fashion, I’m gonna start saying “it’s too hot” today, here’s the perfect poll…

When is it “too hot” to you (& where are you from)?

    15°C (59°F) or higher

    20°C (68°F) or higher

    22°C (71°F) or higher

    25°C (77°F) or higher

    27°C (80°F) or higher

    30°C (86°F) or higher

    32°C (89°F) or higher

    35°C (95°F) or higher

    38°C (100°F) or higher

    Other

Reblog & put your answers in the tags because I’m curious and need to know I’m not suffering alone

Genuinely horrified by this. You mean other people aren’t cold blooded monstrosities? My desperate craving for heat isn’t normal? Please. More heat. My marrow is ice. Sear the flesh from my bones.

I haven’t experienced a temperature yet that I would have genuinely considered as too hot for me. The hottest it ever got in a summer so far was 40°C.
